Miami World Center Community Development District
The Miami World Center Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on July 24, 2015 by the Board of County Commissioners of Miami-Dade County, Florida Ordinance No. 15-62, as a financing mechanism for community infrastructure, facilities and services, along with certain ongoing operations and maintenance for the Miami World Center Development.
The Miami World Center CDD encompasses an area of approximately 23.934 acres of residential and commercial development within the municipal limits of the City of Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida in an area bounded by NE 2 Avenue on the east, NE 6 Street on the south, North Miami Avenue on the west and NE 11 Street on the north.
The development plan for the Miami World Center CDD includes construction of condo units, apartment units, retail space and hotel rooms with associated roadway improvements, waste water collection system, water distribution system, storm water management, mass-transit facilities, landscaping/open space, lighting and signage.

The Miami World Center Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on July 24, 2015 by the Board of County Commissioners of Miami-Dade County, Florida Ordinance No. 15-62. The Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners also grants the special powers authorized pursuant to Section 190.011 and 190.012, Florida Statutes.
